Beginning Tuesday, June 9, at 8 a.m., Bee Seen Signs, contractor for 803 E. Walnut St., plans to install a new sign for Hawthorne Bank at this address. This will result in the closure of the north sidewalk along East Walnut Street between North Eighth Street and North Ninth Street. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 4 p.m. the same day, weather permitting.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the south side of East Walnut Street.
