The City of Columbia Public Works Street Division plans to continue working on roadbed and pavement repairs on Ash Street, from Providence Road to Stadium Boulevard, until Thursday, June 11, weather permitting. Crews began near Providence Road and are working west towards Stadium Boulevard. These repairs are to fix base issues in preparation for mill and overlay paving work currently planned for later this year.
Streets will remain open during repairs but rotating lane closures will occur while crews are working. Flaggers will be present to assist motorists through the work zone as needed.
Traffic delays are expected so motorists are encouraged to consider using alternative routes if possible.
