Columbia Police responded to a report of shots fired Thursday, May 21, at approximately 6:50 a.m. in the 3500 block of Zinnia Drive.
Officers arrived and immediately began canvassing the area and located several shell casings indicating shots had been fired. During the investigation, officers did locate damage to a residence, however, no injuries were reported.
This is an ongoing investigation. There are no further details to provide at this time.
