Emery Sapp & Sons, Inc., contractor for the City of Columbia, began preliminary work on the Sinclair Road Sidewalk project on the morning of Tuesday, May 19. This will result in the closure of both lanes of traffic on Sinclair Road between Nifong Boulevard and Southampton Drive beginning May 26 and lasting until July 27, weather permitting. Traffic requiring access to the school may come in from the south end.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users should utilize alternate routes during this closure.

Construction of the project is scheduled to be complete by July 27, weather permitting.
The estimated investment for this CIP project is $300,000 contributed by Columbia Public Schools. An interested parties meeting for the project was held on January 23, 2019. Complete details are available at CoMo.gov/publicworks/sinclair-sidewalk-2020/. This project coincides with the construction of the roundabout on Nifong Boulevard at Sinclair Road.
