City of Columbia coronavirus (COVID-19) update - no new positive cases, Medicaid for Pregnant Women and Show Me Healthy Babies programs - Wednesday, April 22 at 5 p.m.

The number of positive cases of the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Boone County is currently 90 with 83 who have recovered at the time of publishing. There are no new cases from the previous update. Below is information for residents who need assistance through the Medicaid for Pregnant Women and Show Me Healthy Babies programs.

Health message
Columbia/Boone County Public Health and Human Services (PHHS) would like to remind residents that they are available to help with Medicaid for Pregnant Women and Show Me Healthy Babies and can answer questions and provide pregnancy support.

Anyone interested in these services is asked to call the PHHS Social Services Division at 573.817.6430 and leave a voicemail. The caller will receive a call back from a social service specialist who can help with applying for Medicaid, provide education and support, refer the individual to other resources and help answer questions.
