On Wednesday, April 15 at approximately 11:32 p.m., Columbia police officers responded to a report of a home invasion in the 5000 block of Geyser Boulevard.
There were two occupants in the residence at the time of the reported home invasion, one being an adult female and the other a juvenile. The resident told officers two men broke the living room window, climbed inside and immediately assaulted her. EMS were called to the scene and it was determined the victims did not sustain injuries requiring medical attention.
During the incident, the female adult victim reported that the suspects stole personal items before leaving the scene. The suspects were described as a tall light-skinned black male who is balding and a short black male with dark hair wearing a bandana over his face.
With assistance from the Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) unit, detectives with the Criminal Investigation Division (CID) are actively investigating this incident. This is an ongoing investigation, there are no further details to provide at this time.
