Cook Concrete, a contractor for the City of Columbia, plans to begin roadbed and pavement repairs on Worley Street, from Garth Avenue to Stadium Boulevard, at 7 a.m., April 20, weather permitting. Crews will start near Stadium Boulevard and work east towards Garth Avenue.
Streets will remain open during repairs but will be reduced to one lane while crews are working. Flaggers will be present to assist motorists through the work zone.
Traffic delays are expected so motorists are encouraged to consider using alternative routes if possible.
The work is expected to be completed by 4:30 p.m., April 30, weather permitting.
