City of Columbia coronavirus (COVID-19) update - Director of Health and Human Services issues Special Order 2020-02 - Additional Restrictions - Friday, March 20 at 6:30 p.m.

(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Director of Health and Human Services, Stephanie Browning, has issued Special Order 2020-02. This Order 2020-02 supersedes and replaces Order 2020-01 effective at 2:00 a.m. on March 21, 2020. 

The purpose of the new order is to contain the spread of SARS-CoV2 and COVID-19 and brings the regulations into compliance with the State of Missouri which will announce similar restrictions on public gatherings on Saturday, March 21, 2020. 

A copy of Special Order 2020-02 is attached. A copy of this order has been provided to the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, the Downtown District, Regional Economic Development Inc. (REDI) and the Mid-Missouri Restaurant Association for distribution to their members.
