(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Mayor Brian Treece will host a community briefing and press conference Thursday, March 5, at 10 a.m., to discuss the area's combined efforts in planning and responding to the coronavirus. The briefing will include remarks from Mayor Treece, Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services Director Stephanie Browning, University of Missouri Chancellor Alexander Cartwright and MU Health Care Chief Medical Officer Dr. Stevan Whitt.
The briefing will be held in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. All members of the media and community are invited to attend.
