UPDATE: Columbia Police arrest suspect in relation to an armed robbery at United Credit Union on Jan. 7

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police arrested Deante Antonio Wilder, 19, of Jefferson City, in connection to an armed robbery at United Credit Union, located at 2909 Falling Leaf Lane on Jan. 7. 

With assistance from an investigator for the Missouri Department of Revenue Compliance and Investigation Bureau and the Jefferson City Police Department, investigators followed a lead to Jefferson City as the possible location of Wilder, who was identified as the suspect. 

On Jan. 30, detectives from the Columbia Police Department charged Wilder with first-degree robbery and armed criminal action. He is currently remanded in the custody of the Cole County Jail. 

This is an ongoing investigation. There are no further details to provide at this time.
