Maintenance scheduled for Eighth and Cherry Parking Garage to begin Jan. 13

City of Columbia Public Works contractor Cook Concrete is scheduled to begin maintenance and concrete repair to the concrete on the second and third floors of the Eighth and Cherry Parking Garage, 14 S. Eighth St., beginning Monday, Jan. 13, weather permitting. 

During maintenance, access to 14 spaces on the second and third floors will be restricted. Some metered parking spots on the lower levels will be designated as permit parking to account for the loss of space, however, hourly parking will still be available. Work is scheduled to be completed by mid-February, weather permitting.
