Columbia Police seek the public's assistance in identifying suspect at We B Smokin incident on Dec. 2

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect of a disturbance with a weapon at We B Smokin, 2716 Paris Road, on Dec. 2, at approximately 1:00 p.m. The suspect entered the store yelling at the employee while damaging a countertop coin-operated machine with a large hammer. The suspect left the business and was last seen running southbound with an undisclosed amount of money. There were no injuries reported during the incident.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5 foot 10 inches to 6 foot tall with a slender build. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing blue jeans, a dark jacket, a blue ball hat, a dark face mask, and gray gloves. There is no further information to provide as this is still an active investigation.
