Columbia Police officers responded to the 1500 block of Riva Ridge Court to a report of shots fired on Thursday, Nov. 21, at approximately 9:20 p.m. Officers arrived and immediately began canvassing the area for evidence. Officers located shell casings along with damage to a residence in the 1500 block of Riva Ridge Road as a result of gunshots, but no injuries were reported. There is no suspect description or any further information to provide at this time, as this is an ongoing investigation.
