Columbia Police investigate armed robbery at Xpress Liquor & Smokes, 2101 Corona Road, on Nov. 4

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police Department officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at Xpress Liquor & Smokes, 2101 Corona Road on Monday, Nov. 4, at approximately 8:50 p.m. One suspect entered the store and displayed a handgun while demanding money. 

The suspect fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. He was last seen heading eastbound on foot from the store. He was described as a black male, approximately 6’2". At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing black pants, a black jacket and a mask. There were no injuries reported. 

There is no further information to provide at this time, as this is an active investigation.
