Incident Details:
Vehicle 1 was traveling south on Paris Road. Vehicle 2 was traveling north on Paris Road. Vehicle 1 was attempting to make a left hand turn onto southbound Highway 63. Vehicle 1 and Vehicle 2 were then involved in a head-on angle collision. Alcohol was a contributing factor in this crash. There is no further information as this investigation is ongoing.

As a result of the preliminary investigation and after being released from the hospital, Travis W. Mechlin (Driver 1) was charged with Driving While Intoxicated - Serious Physical Injury.
