Beginning Thursday, Oct. 24 at 7 a.m., P.C.E., contractor for 101 N. Fourth St., plans to remove and replace windows on the building located at that address. This will result in occasional intermittent sidewalk closures between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m. on weekdays. The intermittent closures, which will not occur along the entire sidewalk at one time, are planned on the west side of North Fourth Street (between East Walnut and East Ash streets) and on East Walnut Street (between North Providence Road and North Fourth Street). The work associated with the revolving closures is scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, Nov. 20, weather permitting.
Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the other side of the street as directed by signage.
