[Schedule Delay] Parking lane closures, driving lane restrictions rescheduled on East Walnut Street to Oct. 18-25

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Update Details: The start of work has been delayed two days. The work will now begin Friday, Oct. 18 rather than Oct. 16. Completion of the work has been delayed from Oct. 23 to Oct. 25.

Beginning Friday, Oct. 18 at 7 a.m., Huebert Builders Inc., contractor for 22 N. 10th St., plans to make repairs to the street pavement on East Walnut Street where utility services were installed. This will result in a closure of the parking lanes and restrictions of the driving lanes on East Walnut Street between North 10th and Orr streets. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Oct. 25 at 5 p.m., weather permitting.

Motorists, nonmotorized transportation users and pedestrians are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone.
