Columbia Police investigate fatal crash on Business Loop 70 E and Seventh Street on Oct. 5

Location: Business Loop 70 East and North Seventh Street 

Vehicle and Driver Information:

Vehicle 1 - 2013 Chevrolet Silverado

Driver 1 - Michael A. Bousquet, 44, Columbia, Missouri, Seat belt-Yes, No injuries

Vehicle 2 (motorcycle) - 2010 Harley-Davidson Street Glide

Driver 2 - Tracy L. Page, 48, Moberly, Missouri, Helmet-Yes, Fatal injuries, 

Incident Details: 

Vehicle 1 was stopped on the south side of Business Loop 70 East on Seventh Street. Vehicle 2 was traveling west on Business Loop 70 East. Vehicle 1 began traveling north across Business Loop 70 East to continue on Seventh Street and was struck on the passenger side of the vehicle by Vehicle 2. Driver 2 was ejected from Vehicle 2. Driver 2 was transported to University Hospital, where he later died as a result of his injuries. 

This investigation is ongoing. Next of kin has been notified.
