Oct. 7-20: Alley closure
Beginning Monday, Oct. 7 at 7 a.m., Little Dixie Construction, contractor for 500 E. Broadway, plans to perform tuckpointing and restoration work on the exterior of the building at this address. The work will require the alley that connects South Fifth and South Sixth streets between Broadway and Cherry Street to be closed Oct. 7-20.
Oct. 21-Nov. 4: Sidewalk closure
Following the alley closure, the work will move to the west exterior wall of the building, requiring the sidewalk on the east side of South Fifth Street to be closed between East Broadway and Cherry Street Oct. 21-Nov. 4.
Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should only use the sidewalk on the west side of South Fifth Street.
