Columbia police officers were dispatched to House of Chow, 2101 W. Broadway, Suite O, on Saturday, Sept. 28 at approximately 9:15 p.m. in reference to a disturbance with a knife.
Officers arrived and found two victims, one of which sustained life-threatening injuries while the other sustained injuries that were not life-threatening. The suspect had also received an injury that was not life-threatening. Both victims, along with the suspect, were transferred to a local emergency room to receive advanced medical care.
Dengcheng "David" Chen, 29, of Columbia, was released from the hospital and was taken into custody and charged with Assault 1st, Assualt 2nd and 2 counts of Armed Criminal Action and will be remanded to the custody of the Boone County Jail. There are no photos available at this time.
