UPDATE/CORRECTION: Arrest made in relation to homicide of Nadria Wright and assault of Sam Baldwin

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

St. Louis County Police* arrested Javion Martae Lawhorn-Wallace, 30, of Columbia, on Thursday, Sept. 26, for an arrest warrant in connection to the homicide of Nadria Wright, 18, of Columbia, and the assault on Sam Baldwin, 28, of Columbia, on Sept. 13.

"We are thankful for the assistance from all law enforcement agencies that assisted us with the capture of Lawhorn-Wallace," Columbia Police Chief Geoff Jones said. "We will continue to gather evidence and pursue leads in this case."

Lawhorn-Wallace was arrested on one count of second-degree murder, two counts of unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of armed criminal action.
