The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning the Lenoir Street Improvements project. This public interested parties meeting will be held Thursday, Oct. 3, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1A on the first floor of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.
The purpose of this meeting is to present design concepts for realigning approximately 1,200 linear feet of roadway north of the connection with Discovery Drive. The improvements include new roadway pavement, curb and gutter, stormwater inlets and sidewalks. City engineers will be available to answer questions and listen to public input.
Construction is currently planned for 2021 following the City's public involvement process.
The estimated investment for the project is $1,020,000. More information is available online at CoMo.gov/PublicWorks/Lenoir-Improvements.
