The last concert in Columbia Parks and Recreation’s 2019 Stephens Lake Amphitheater Concert Series is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 5. BXR 102.3 will present the Darkroom Records Teen Band Showcase at 6 p.m. The Amphitheater is located on the northwest side of Stephens Lake Park, 100 Old 63 N.
The artists performing are Columbia Public Schools students who participate in the school’s Darkroom Records program. Performers will include Allie Bruns, Callie Brinkman, Effie
Lillig, Violence of the Violets and the Sweaters.
Concert-goers are encouraged to bring sunscreen, hats and/or umbrellas and a blanket or lawn chair for seating. Picnic baskets and coolers are welcome.
The Amphitheater Concert Series features a free performance from May through September.
Concerts are free of charge and co-sponsored by BXR, KPLA, KFRU and the Columbia Missourian.
