The summer’s monthly Movies in the Park series will be held Friday, Aug. 9. Ralph Breaks the Internet will be shown at 8:30 p.m. at Cosmo Park, 1615 Business Loop 70 W, near Nickell Shelter.
Columbia Parks and Recreation coordinates Movies in the Park, showing family-friendly movies monthly on a giant inflatable screen. Viewers should bring blankets or low lawn chairs for seating, as well as insect repellent and a flashlight. Admission is free to all ages for this summer’s movies, thanks to Missouri Care.
Food trucks will be on-site, and popcorn and other light concessions will be available for purchase throughout the film.
In addition to Missouri Care, the movies are sponsored by KPLA 101.5. Call Parks and Recreation at 573.874.7460 for more information or visit CoMo.gov.
