Movies in the Park set for Aug. 9

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

The summer’s monthly Movies in the Park series will be held Friday, Aug. 9. Ralph Breaks the Internet will be shown at 8:30 p.m. at Cosmo Park, 1615 Business Loop 70 W, near Nickell Shelter.

Columbia Parks and Recreation coordinates Movies in the Park, showing family-friendly movies monthly on a giant inflatable screen. Viewers should bring blankets or low lawn chairs for seating, as well as insect repellent and a flashlight. Admission is free to all ages for this summer’s movies, thanks to Missouri Care.

Food trucks will be on-site, and popcorn and other light concessions will be available for purchase throughout the film.
