For the first time, Columbia Parks and Recreation’s Stephens Lake Amphitheater Concert Series will feature Karaoke in the Park. The free event is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 1 at 7 p.m. at the Amphitheater, which is on the northwest side of Stephens Lake Park, 100 Old 63 N.
Karaoke in the Park is free of charge. Everyone is invited to come out and share their talent; a pre-event sign-up is available at CoMo.gov (search Concert Series).
Attendees are encouraged to bring sunscreen, bug spray, hats and/or umbrellas, along with lawn chairs or blanket for seating. Picnic baskets and coolers welcome. An Italian Ice vendor will also be on-site.
The Amphitheater Concert Series features free performances from May through September.
