The Columbia Police Department is asking for the public's help locating 13-year-old Summer Skye Allen. She left a residence by herself and was last seen Thursday, July 18, at approximately 6:30 p.m. walking southbound towards Business Loop 70 from the Super 7 Motel, located at 1306 Range Line St.
Summer is a white female with black hair, brown eyes, between 5’2" and 5’5" tall and weighs approximately 100 pounds. She was last seen wearing a floral tank top, blue jean capris and flip flops.
"While we are always concerned for the safety of children who leave their home and don't return as expected, the extreme heat we have been experiencing is an important factor in locating Summer," Assistant Chief Jill Schlude said.
Summer has been entered in the national runaway database. Anyone who sees or hears from her or anyone with any information regarding Summer should immediately dial 9-1-1 to contact the nearest law enforcement agency, or call the Columbia Police Department at 573.874.7652.
