(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Columbia community is invited to a public reception Wednesday, July 10, to meet the two finalists for the city manager position, John Glascock and James "Jim" Palenick.
The public reception will be held at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway, beginning at 6 p.m. in Council Chambers where the candidates will introduce themselves and will be asked a few questions by the hired search firm, CPS HR Consulting. The public will then be invited to Conference Rooms 1A/1B for a meet and greet with the candidates until 8 p.m. The finalist introductions and answers in Council Chambers will be broadcast live on CoMo.gov as well as Mediacom 80, Charter Communications 992 and CenturyLink 96.
The consultants will provide feedback forms for those attending.
Members of the media are welcome to attend the public reception.
