The City of Columbia Utilities Department has scheduled an informal interested parties meeting concerning the replacement of the Columbia Terminal Railroad's (COLT) crossing at Route B. The interested parties meeting is scheduled for Monday, July 8 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in conference room 1C at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.
The improvements will allow the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission to reimburse 100% of the cost required. Total project cost is estimated to be $230,000. With the reimbursement from the Missouri Highway and Transportation Commission, the final cost to the COLT/City of Columbia is estimated to be zero dollars.
