Columbia Police arrested Randall Gene Shaw, 43, of Columbia, in connection to the Aug. 16, 2018, robbery at Central Bank of Boone County, located at 1916 Paris Road.
On June 5, Columbia Police followed up on a lead about the possible location of Shaw, who had been previously identified as a suspect in the robbery. When detectives attempted to make contact with Shaw at the 100 block of Poplar Hill Drive, CPD detectives determined the suspect was hiding in a closet inside a residence. Patrol officers and Street Crimes detectives worked together tor to safely take the suspect into custody.
In addition to the original charge of Robbery 1st Degree and Armed Criminal Action, Shaw was also arrested for Resisting Arrest/Detention for a Felony.
