Columbia Police Investigate Two Pedestrians Struck by a Vehicle on June 1

Vehicle 1-2002 Hyundai Santa Fe
 
Driver 1-Kelsey T. Stephens, 25, Columbia, MO, Seat belt-Yes, No Injuries

Pedestrians:
Pedestrian 1-Patricia F. Beasley, 25, Columbia, MO, Life Threatening Injuries
 
Pedestrian 2-Katie S. Paul, 25, Columbia, MO, Life Threatening Injuries
 
 
Synopsis:
 
Vehicle 1 was traveling east on Ash Street at Eighth Street. Pedestrian 1 and 2 were walking south across Ash Street on the east side of Eighth Street. Pedestrian 1 and 2 were struck by vehicle 1. Both Pedestrian 1 and 2 were transported by paramedics to University Hospital with life threatening injuries. Drug or alcohol impairment are unknown at this time. Next of kin for both pedestrians have been notified. Investigation into the crash is ongoing.
