(COLUMBIA, MO) - The Columbia Fire Department was dispatched to a commercial structure at 3701 Aspen Heights Parkway, Aspen Heights Apartments, on Tuesday, April 30, 2019 at 9:50pm.

Units from the Columbia Fire Department arrived approximately nine minutes later and observed light smoke coming from the roof.  Crews deployed a ladder to access the attic where fire and smoke were observed .  Crews used a preconnected hose line to extinguish the fire and had it under control in approximately ten minutes.
