Columbia Parks and Recreation’s Stephens Lake Amphitheater Concert Series will kick off Thursday, May 2 at 6 p.m. with a special performance for kids. Mr. Stinky Feet and the Hiccups will perform at the Amphitheater, which is located on the northwest side of Stephens Lake Park, 100 Old 63 N.
The concert is free of charge and is presented by the Daniel Boone Regional Library. Concert-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or lawn chair for seating. In case of bad weather, the concert will be moved indoors to the Library, 100 W. Broadway.
RJ’s Real Italian Ice will be available for purchase, but carry-in food and drinks are allowed.
The Amphitheater Concert Series features a free performance monthly from May through September.
The Amphitheater Concert Series is sponsored throughout the summer by KPLA 101.5, KFRU, Daniel Boone Regional Library and the Missourian.
