[Rescheduled] Road, sidewalk closure scheduled on Paquin Street between Waugh, Hitt streets, Aug. 12-16

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Rescheduled: This project was rescheduled from March 25-29 to Aug. 12-16.


On Monday, Aug. 12 at 7 a.m., Kreutzer Construction LLC, contractor for At Home Rentals, plans to cap two sanitary sewer laterals for 1107 Paquin St. and 1109 Paquin St. This will result in a closure of the street and north sidewalk on a section of Paquin Street located between Hitt and Waugh streets. Although the University Avenue Parking Structure will be closed on the Paquin side, full access to all businesses and driveways and will be maintained via Hamilton Way. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Aug. 16 at 5 p.m. 

 

Motorists and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should only use the sidewalk on the south side of Paquin Street.
