The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning camera upgrades in City-owned parking garages. This public interested parties meeting will be held Tuesday, March 26, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in Conference Room 1B on the first floor of City Hall, 701 E. Broadway.
The purpose of this meeting is to provide information about the Parking Garage Camera Upgrades project, answer questions and gather feedback. The project will convert the current parking garage analog camera system to an IP system, install additional cameras at garage entrances/exits and add more cameras to the top of the Fifth and Walnut Garage.
Work on the project is expected to begin in late spring/early summer 2019. More information about the project and the City’s parking garages can be found at CoMo.gov/PublicWorks/Garage-Cameras.
