Detectives with the Columbia Police Department served a search warrant at 2607 Eastwood Drive at approximately 12:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 8. The warrant was served with the assistance of the Special Weapons and Tactics Team (SWAT) due to the nature of the crime being investigated and to ensure public and officer safety.
Inside the residence officers located evidence related to a reported burglary and robbery. As a result of the investigation and search warrant, two subjects were arrested.
David J. Galentine, 18, of Columbia was arrested for Burglary 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Armed Criminal Action. He also had an outstanding Failure to Appear warrant.
Jamieon D. Parker, 21, of Columbia was arrested for Burglary 1st Degree, Robbery 1st Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon and Armed Criminal Action.
