The City of Columbia Public Works Department has scheduled an informal open house meeting concerning the Sinclair Road Sidewalk Project. This public interested parties meeting will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 23 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria at Mill Creek Elementary School, 2200 W. Nifong Blvd.
The purpose of this meeting is to present preliminary design concepts for construction of approximately 2,600 linear feet of concrete sidewalk along the east side of Sinclair Road from Nifong Boulevard to Southampton Drive. City engineers will be available to answer questions and listen to public input.
Construction is currently planned for the summer of 2020 following the City’s public involvement process.
