Columbia Police responded to Bodie Drive and Edenton Boulevard at 7:50 p.m. for a report of shots heard. Evidence of shots fired was located at the scene. Shortly after responding to the shots heard call, police responded to the Break Time convenience store located at 1000 Smiley Lane for a report of an individual with a gunshot wound.
It was confirmed the victim sustained a non-life threatening gunshot wound and was transported to a local hospital.
CPD is currently investigating both incidents to determine if they are related to each other.
