Columbia Police investigate armed robbery at Break Time, 2709 E. Broadway St. on Dec. 31

(COLUMBIA, MO) -

Columbia Police officers were dispatched to a report of an armed robbery at Break Time, 2709 E. Broadway St., Suite 300 at 1:56 a.m. on Dec. 31. The suspect implied he had a weapon, however no weapon was visibly observed.

The suspect was described as a black male, 5’7" to 6’, under 30 years old, weighing approximately 150 lbs. He was wearing a dark color hoodie and had a dark cloth covering his mouth.

The suspect fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash running east from the business. A police K-9 track confirmed the direction of travel.

There are currently no video or photo(s) of the suspect to share.
