Columbia Police responded to a call for shots heard in the area of Bodie Drive and Edenton Boulevard at approximately 2 a.m. on Nov. 30.
Upon arrival, officers began searching the area and located shell casings which were collected for evidence. One person received a non-life threatening gunshot wound and had already been taken by a private vehicle to a local hospital for medical treatment before officers arrive.
Police continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding this incident.
