Update Details: Due to yesterday's wet weather, this work was pushed back until this evening, Nov. 6-7, weather permitting.
Original Press Release:
Beginning Monday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m., S&A Equipment and Builders, contractor for Columbia Public Works, plans to close the entrance to Sylvan Lane at Clark Lane to fix tire tracks that were left in the concrete from a motorbike that drove around the barricades.
Clark Lane will remain open. Residents on Sylvan Lane may access their homes via Eastwood Drive, Hendrix Drive or Whitegate Drive. The contractor plans to reopen the intersection by 6 a.m., Tuesday, Nov. 6, weather permitting.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to use extreme caution near the work zone and not drive through the wet concrete.
