City of Columbia Utilities is holding an interested parties meeting regarding potential new water rates structure for customers. The meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov. 7 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at City Hall, 701 E. Broadway. The public is invited to attend and provide their input on the prospective water rates structure changes.
City staff and the Water & Light Advisory Board have discussed several different rate structures that could be used to support the City’s water system. These discussions have included consideration of the recent comprehensive water cost of service study provided by Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc.
Staff and members of the Water & Light Advisory Board will be available at the meeting with more information regarding the potential rates structure, and will answer questions and take comments.
An online survey will be available at CoMo.gov, for those who would like to offer feedback but cannot attend the Nov. 7 meeting.
For more information, call the Contact Center at 573.874.CITY (2489) or visit CoMo.gov.
