Broadway sidewalk repairs scheduled to begin Oct. 22

The City of Columbia Public Works Department is scheduled to repair sections of sidewalk along Broadway beginning Monday, Oct. 22 at 7:30 a.m. The repairs are scheduled to be completed Thursday, Oct. 25 by 3:30 p.m., weather permitting.

The first location is at the northwest corner of the Williams and Broadway intersection. The right westbound lane will be closed while the repairs are completed.

The second location is at the southwest corner of the Old 63 and Broadway intersection. The right eastbound lane will be closed while the repairs are completed.

Minor delays are expected. Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the other side of the street.
