Columbia Police officers were dispatched to a shots heard call on Oct. 16 at approximately 7:45 p.m. at the intersection of Clarkson and Burnam roads. A delivery driver reported a male subject on foot at the intersection fired a handgun and pointed the gun towards the delivery vehicle.
People in the area reported hearing a "bang" in the general time frame. Police searched the area but were unable to locate any evidence such as shell casings. There was no property damage located and no injuries.
The delivery driver described the suspect as a white male, wearing a flat billed ball cap, a St. Louis Cardinals t-shirt and khaki shorts. The suspect ran east from the intersection.
