Beginning Saturday, Oct. 6 at 8 a.m., J Louis Crum, a contractor for Moore & Shyrock LLC, plans to remove equipment from the roof of 700 Cherry Street. This will result in a sidewalk closure along the south side of Cherry Street between South Seventh Street and South Eighth Street, adjacent to 700 Cherry St. The work associated with the closure is scheduled to be completed by 10 a.m. the same day, weather permitting.
Motorists, pedestrians and nonmotorized transportation users are urged to exercise extreme caution when in the work zone. Pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the north side of Cherry Street.
The previous release listed incorrect street names.
