(COLUMBIA, MO) - Columbia Police officers were dispatched to the sound of gunfire in the 1500 block of Sylvan Lane at 11:05 p.m. on Aug. 27. Officers arrived on scene and found a male subject who had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Officers on scene rendered aid to the male until the arrival of medical personnel. The subject was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased. The victim was identified as Randall King II, 31, of Columbia.
The investigation is ongoing. Additional details will be released if they become available.
