(COLUMBIA, MO) - On Aug. 20 at approximately 5 a.m., Columbia Police officers were dispatched to a report of a burglary and assault in the 1000 block of Queen Ann Drive. Officers arrived to find a resident who had been assaulted with a weapon after an individual had forced entry into the residence. The resident was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries.
On Aug. 22, Columbia Police officers arrested Brianna Nicole Westbrook, 19, on the following charges: robbery in the 1st degree, assault in the 1st degree, burglary in the 1st degree, property damage in the 2nd degree and armed criminal action.
