On Aug. 20 around 1:30 p.m., Columbia Police officers responded to a report of shots fired in the 1100 block of Eastland Circle. Officers found evidence of shots being fired and made contact with an individual who suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The gunshot wound victim refused transport to a local hospital.
Officers developed suspect information and later detained two males and one female for questioning in the area of Broadway and Trimble Road. Officers subsequently arrested the two males and continue to question the female.
The investigation is ongoing.
