The Columbia Fire Department will be conducting training procedures at the Fifth and Walnut parking garage Thursday, Aug. 9 from 9 to 11 a.m. During this time, the northwest stairwell of the garage facing Fifth Street will be closed for public use.
Fire trucks will be parked outside the garage on Walnut Street, and firefighters will be clothed in their fire protection gear.
Unless a customer sees fire and/or smoke, they should consider the procedures as a drill.
