(COLUMBIA, MO) - CORRECTED - Around 1:30 am on Sunday, July 29 shots were fired near the intersection of 10th and Broadway. Officers were already in close proximity to the area while foot traffic dispersed after downtown establishments closed. Officers were unable to identify a suspect or suspects in the crowd. A male in the crowd suffered a non life threatening wound and was transported by EMS to a local hospital for treatment.
A short time later, officers responded to a report of shots heard in the area of Williams and Ann. No one was located in the area and no property damage was found.
It is unknown if the two incidents were related. No additional information is available.
