This Saturday, July 28, the Columbia Police Department, along with Columbia Parks and Recreation, will host a neighborhood barbecue for the East Strategic Plan Neighborhood. The event will be held from 2 to 5 p.m. at Indian Hills Park, 5009 Aztec Blvd.
Columbia Police Community Outreach Unit officers and volunteers will fire up the grill and serve smiles to event-goers. Families can come enjoy good food and great camaraderie at no cost. Wacky water games will be available for kids, provided by Columbia Parks and Recreation.
This is the third year Community Outreach Unit officers and staff from Columbia Parks and Recreation have worked together to organize this event for residents in the neighborhood. Both departments look forward to networking with residents and working together to build a stronger community!
